History:
Mike and Dan started out as a duet, with singer LM (little mike). LM had a terrible voice, and the band disbanded after just one song, but the desire for a real band was always there. After experimenting in song writing for porn music Mike finally came back to his roots in SMALL PARaDE. About a year later Mike and Dan met again, this time they brought alonge fellow friend and student Jim on drums, and LM was back but not singing, he was bass guitar. With the slow and smooth porno licks of Mike and the ?creative? antics of Jim the band was on the fast track to no where. They worked for a little while, then LM was dropped in order to take on a new, less annoying, and more helpful bass player, Nate. Nate brought fresh ideas to the band?s music. He also didn?t like Mike?s porn-style riffs, and helped create some new, more rock-like lines. SMALL PARaDE was still stuck upstream without a paddle, they didn?t have a singer. A friend and fellow Previa-Ride Alex wanted the part. Alex?s mind was filled with rap lines from song such as ?Get Low,? ?Holidae Inn? and ?Right Thurr.? He wrote 3 songs, AJ: which was a list of reasons who his geometery teacher was a retard, Nudi Boobies: Which he never got past the title, in which he turned the O?s into boobies, and Friday Night, which never got past the 1st 4 lines. The group worked on songs together, but was still lacking a singer. After many months of lyric-less music, Matt finally jumped onto the band?s wagon as the singer. What?s Matt?s trick for writing such good lyrics? Well, he says that it all about where and when you write them: for instance he writes them during math class.
